- The PNG Kapuls Men's National Team have assembled in Port Moresby for the final leg of preparations before departing for Qatar next week for the Oceania Qualifiers to the prestigious FIFA World Cup 2022 .
PNG Kapul's Team Manager, Joseph Ealedona revealed in a statement that the team is in high spirits as the travel time comes closer and is looking forward to the final training week in Port Moresby.

Tonzi Aure, the Director for Public Health with the Simbu Provincial Health Authority said this during the opening of a workshop on Sleeves Up to Help Stop COVID-19 program.
This workshop is aimed at getting staff from the Simbu Provincial Health Authority and the Catholic Church Health Services to help increase the number of people who are being vaccinated against COVID-19.

Mr. Niningi who was in the district yesterday to launch one of its rural electrification project and a science lab for a high school says they have a special place for the late Grand Chief.
A minute of silence was given to late Sir Michael before the program began.

- Prime Minister, James Marape has honoured the 30-year commitment to the landowners of the Warangoi Hydro facility in East New Britain province.
A cheque of K3 million was handed over to the Warangoi Hydro Power Landowners Association on Sunday by Health Minister Jelta Wong, on behalf of the Prime Minister at the Sinivit LLG office.
The event was witnessed by Provincial Administrator Wilson Matava and Pomio MP Elias Kapavore.
Mr. Kapavore had queried the Prime Minister on the status of the K5 million commitment to landowners of the Warangoi hydro power project in his electorate during Parliament session last week.
The remaining K2 million is still forthcoming.
Minister Wong thanked Mr. Marape for acknowledging the Warangoi landowners by paying them for using their land and water.

This was the emotional tribute presented by the Governor for NCD Powes Parkop at the 1st Anniversary Memorial Service held in Port Moresby yesterday.
