Joyriders: Ireland’s Lucky Dip Gang hears from families whose lives have been devastated by these crimes, including retired Offaly farmer Seamus Farrell, whose home was targeted by masked intruders, and Conor Farrelly, whose brother Michael “Mikey” Farrelly was killed after being struck by a stolen car in Baldoyle in July 2024.
The documentary also examines the August 2026 M9 tragedy, in which five teenagers were killed after the car they were travelling in was driven the wrong way along the motorway and collided head-on with another vehicle, seriously injuring four members of another family.
