The body of late Minister will depart Singapore's Changi International Airport tonight on an Air Niugini flight and arrive at Port Moresby's Jackson's International Airport around four o'clock tomorrow morning.
It will be escorted by the Department of Commerce and Industry's acting secretary, the late William Samb's wife and other government officials.

In a media statement OTML stated that there was no basis for the company to entertain this demand.
It said it has met all its obligations to pay compensation for the extraction of water from Dablan creek under the Ok Tedi Act, the Mining Act, the Ok Tedi Environment Management Act and the current benefit agreements signed by OTML, the landowners and the State.
The company says this position is consistent with the advice given to the landowners by the Conservation & Environment Protection Authority and the Office of the State Solicitor.

Mr. Tulg says Archbishop, Douglas Young, of the Mt Hagen Catholic Archdiocese will be the main celebrant at the funeral service.

The price for petrol, diesel and kerosene increased significantly on average, throughout PNG effectively, yesterday.
According to the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission, the significant increase in domestic fuel prices was mainly attributed to the 12.15% average price increase in crude oil prices from January to February 2022.
The significant increase in oil prices is attributed to the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has disrupted crude oil supply from Russia, and subsequently triggered a spike in oil prices.

Solicitor General Tauvasa Tanuvasa says the Attorney General is concerned that there interested persons who might be contesting this year's elections, but have criminal convictions against them.

- Roads and bridges continue to deteriorate in the country despite attempts to rehabilitate them with millions of kina being put into the projects to get those infrastructure fixed.
This has now seen implementing government agencies working on roads model designs to factor climate change mitigating factors integrated into those models.

- Morobe Governor, Ginson Saonu has expressed his deepest condolence over the passing of the Member for Goilala and Pangu Party strong man, late William Samb.
Governor Saonu described the late Goilala MP as a man of less talk and more action who brought the level of development in Goilala to another level that brought the country’s attention.
He says late Samb was instrumental in the formation of the Pangu led Government in 2019.
Governor Saonu further reiterated that late Samb was a career public servant before entering politics and contributed immensely to the Road Infrastructure Sector of the country.
Adding that he was a reformist, developer and motivator that young Papua New Guineans can look up to be a role model in the Public Service and Political Leadership.
