Ali Sharif, 33, of Grenoble Road, Oxford, received three years and four months imprisonment earlier this month, while Mohamed Benioua, 30, of Pelham Road, Gravesend, who was also involved, was sentenced to two years at an earlier hearing. Both plead guilty to robbery.

- CCTV footage of sex offender Salman Yousaf, who targeted women sleeping on night Tubes across London, has been released after he was found guilty of eight counts of sexual assault and one of outraging public decency.
The 46-year-old has been sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison and been placed on the sex offenders register for the crimes committed on the Central and Jubilee Line between 2017 and 2021.

On Tuesday (26 May), jurors at Isleworth Crown Court found Nix, 67, guilty of Andrea's manslaughter by forcing her into a scalding bath in Thornton Heath, south London, in 1978.
David Malone, a deputy chief crown prosecutor in London, described the case against Nix as the result of a “remarkable investigation”.
