In the lecture he discussed the war in Ukraine, NATO, Afghanistan and the changing nature of warfare.
General David H. Petraeus is a retired four-star general who served 37 years in the US military, becoming the best-known commander in George W Bush’s “war on terror,” leading coalition forces in Iraq during the “surge” of 2007-8 and in Afghanistan in 2010-11, before going on to serve as Director of the CIA.
