The Harvey Weinstein defense team called Friday for secret jury selection in the widely-publicized case, insisting the accused sexual predator’s chances for a fair trial were already compromised during the first days of questioning.
Lawyers for the disgraced Hollywood honcho also asked Judge James Burke to boot all 32 jurors who heard a damning remark about Weinstein during voir dire two days ago, and called for all potential jurors to be sequestered and questioned individually going forward. The media and the public would be barred if Burke agrees to the drastic suggestion.

A Florida officer appeared to be clueless about who Stacey Dash is as he arrested her on a domestic battery charge Sunday night.
Body camera video released by the Pasco Sheriff’s Office shows the law enforcement official asking Dash what she does for work and, after she says she’s an actress, what she’s acted in.
“I did a film called ‘Clueless,’ ” Dash, 52, told the officer as he escorted her to his car.
She also said she was on a break from acting, mentioning she had previously transitioned to politics and worked as a Fox News contributor. She was taken to a jail in Land O’ Lakes and released Monday on a $500 bond.

Tekashi69 choked up as he described a terrifying kidnapping by one of his former friends in the Nine Trey Bloods that was captured on dramatic dashboard video.
The trash-talking rapper-turned government witness described his alleged kidnapping, robbery and beat down in Brooklyn on July 22, 2018 at the hands of Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Ellison’s friend identified only as “Sha.”
Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, said his friendship with Ellison fell apart in early 2018 amid disagreements about how the rapper’s earnings were being distributed within the gang.

An Ohio man accused police of stealing his “prestige f---ing weed" and told them to return it because he said the law allows him to have up to 100 grams of marijuana, according to a hilarious and profanity-filled 911 call released by police this week.

The 30-year-old zoologist, who left his home in England at 14 to work for the late “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin, has taken up his mentor’s mantle, facing off against nature’s slimiest and scaliest while the rest of us sit at home watching behind covered eyes. But the host of National Geographic’s “Out There with Jack Randall” doesn’t want you to be scared.
“If you don’t understand the animal, that’s why you’re scared,” Randall told the Daily News. “You just have to understand what’s dangerous, understand their behaviors.”
It also helps, he joked, that he’s been bitten by a tarantula before and “didn’t react too badly.”
