- Easy & Oskey's Erik Eastman shows us how to make a holiday cocktail he calls "The Humboldt." You'll need the following ingredients:
2 oz Prairie Organic Gin
.75 oz Cocchi Torino Sweet Vermouth
.5 oz St. George Spirits Spiced Pear Liqueur
1/4 tsp Easy & Oskey Grapefruit Bitters
2 oz quality dry sparkling wine
Combine all ingredients except sparkling wine in a mixing glass with clean ice. Stir 30 seconds to dilute, chill and combine. Strain into a
champagne flute, top with the sparkling wine and a couple more drops of bitters. Cut a coin sized piece of peel from a fresh organic lemon, squeeze the oils onto the drink, wipe the rim of the glass with the peel.

He is leading a first-of-its kind national study on the dangers of police officers driving distracted and fatigued. He has been putting officers through hours and hours of squad car simulations and tracking their eye movements. Preliminary results show even distractions far less demanding than police vehicle equipment increase the risk of an officer getting into a crash by more than double.

- The Minnesota Highway Safety Research Center at St. Could State helps train thousands of drivers every year. Among the drivers are police officers who learn how to drive squad cars safely under several different scenarios. Many officers get their driver recertification from the Highway Safety Research Center. Officers learn about the dangers of distracted driving by going through a course, with lights and sirens on, all while doing a critical thinking task to emulate distraction. It’s interesting to see how a simple distraction in the car can show up on the road.
