- Former senior political secretary to the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin is appealing the dismissal of his application to transfer five corruption charges from the Sessions Court to the High Court.
His lawyer, Datuk Amer Hamzah Arshad, informed the Sessions Court that the defence had filed a notice of appeal on Wednesday (May 6).
Sessions judge Suzana Hussin subsequently fixed June 29 for mention.
