- Weather fronts will continue to edge north, keeping many areas cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain. - A very wet and cloudy start will continue through the day, with hill snow easing across northern England and Scotland. Persistent rain over Northern Ireland, Wales and southwest England will build totals and may cause further disruption on saturated ground. An easterly wind will bring more rain and some hill snow into eastern Scotland, while the far northwest will see the best of the brighter weather.
