The average price of gas could drop down to less than three dollars a gallon in up to 30 states by the end of the year according to energy experts.
Gas prices typically decline in the fall due to lower driving demand following summer vacations.
This year, prices are dropping even lower, as global oil prices are falling.
Drivers say they could use the extra cash they'll save with lower prices at the pump.

The Gibbon Head Start has been in this location for four years and this is its third location, but a move in the fall would be the first time that they've had to make a move in the middle of the school year.
"It's stressful, but we're trying to be positive." Said Ganguish.

- Hastings Police say a Hastings man shot a gun at a pickup truck Saturday morning.
Now one of the witnesses in that truck is speaking out.
In the early morning hours of Saturday, September 13th, Hastings Police say the ex-girlfriend of Christopher Dimond drove to his home in the 800 block of South St. Joseph Avenue in Hastings to return some of his belongings.
"He tried jumping in her car and she took off, so he jumped out. He had thrown a bunch of beer out of her car." Said Justin Carroll, passenger in the pick-up truck.
Justin Carroll was the passenger in this pick-up truck, driven by his friend.

- Description
- Traveling by plane is a luxury many of us take for granted, but imagine the days before American Airlines or Delta.
It wasn't until the 1930's that commercial flights took off. Before then, if you wanted to travel by air you had to board a mail carrier plane. Thursday, the Ford Tri-Motor plane that helped launch the industry came to Kearney.

"Henry said treat people like people and do first class transportation so he built the airplane and started the airline industry," Siegfriend said.
Ford's Tri-Motor aircraft was first built in 1926. There are only 5 of these planes left that can still fly and only one still offers public flights. And that 1929 aircraft landed in Kearney than...
