- HOUSTON, TX - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash in the 2400 block of Bissonnet Street.
The crash occurred around 7:25 p.m. A 57-year-old man was standing or walking in the roadway when he was struck by an unknown vehicle. The driver did not remain at the scene.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man deceased at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The Houston Police Department Vehicular Crimes Division Hit and Run Unit is investigating.

The suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his 20s to 30s wearing a gray hoodie and black beanie, then fled eastbound on Lyons.

A Honda Accord was traveling westbound in the number one lane when the man was either walking across the roadway or in the westbound number one lane. - HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Deputies responded to a disturbance at a mobile home park in the 9400 block of Cay Sol Court this afternoon.
According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies determined a married couple had been involved in a domestic dispute. The female, 58, suffered stab wounds and was transported by Life Flight in critical condition.
The male, 54, allegedly set himself on fire and was transported to a hospital.
CSI and detectives responded to the scene and are conducting the follow-up investigation.

- HOUSTON, TX – Houston police arrested a suspect in the death of a man found at 600 East Tidwell Road at about 8:30 a.m. on November 25.
The suspect, Carl Taylor, 44, is charged with murder and tampering with evidence in the 179th Criminal District Court. The identity of the deceased male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to court documents, the victim was struck with a television, causing injuries that led to his death.
Houston Metro Police Department officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male in a wheelchair at a bus stop at the address. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene, and the man was found to have suffered multiple injuries.
Houston police located evidence of the killing inside a nearby apartment. Taylor, identified as the resident, was taken into custody and charged for his role in the man’s death.

- HOUSTON, TX – Houston police say a homeowner was shot around 1:20 a.m. after exchanging gunfire with two males during an attempted home invasion in the 9400 block of East Avenue J.
The shooting occurred when two males approached the residence and attempted to force entry. Police say a gunfight followed between the homeowner and the suspects. The homeowner was struck at least once and drove himself to Houston Fire Department Station 23, where officers later located him and obtained his statement.
One suspect was found on Avenue L after knocking on a nearby door. Officers took him into custody and noted he had multiple gunshot wounds. The second suspect possibly left the area in a vehicle and has not been located.
