- FORECAST | More Rain Ahead
- Date posted
- Description
- We start out mild with temperatures in the 60’s with showers around. Thanks to a stalled front near our coastline and low pressure moving along it, we will see scattered showers this morning with rounds of rain and storms continuing through the afternoon and into tonight. Out of the storms that do form, a couple could be strong, especially near the coast later today. Temperatures will stay mild today, only reaching the upper 60’s and lower 70’s. Showers and a few storms stick around Saturday morning as the system scoots across out coastline and out of our area. Rain will taper off from west to east Saturday, drying out by lunchtime. Winds will kick up Saturday afternoon as the skies clear. Sunday into early next week bring us cooler mornings in the 40’s with afternoon highs in the 70’s with dry skies. Our next system looks to pass midweek.

- FORECAST | Unsettled pattern continues
- Date posted
- Description
- We start out mild with temperatures in the 60’s with showers around. We will see scattered off and on rain chances throughout the day as the front sags southward with highs reaching the upper 70’s and lower 80’s. A few showers stick around tonight as lows drop into the upper 50’s. The front stalls near our coastline and will bring more rounds of rain Friday. A Gulf low is forecast to form along this stalled front and push eastward Friday night into Saturday. This will bring us lots of rain, but also the chance for some storms, especially near the coastline, closest to the front. We cannot rule out a stray severe storm or two near and south of I-10. We dry out heading into Saturday afternoon with cooler and drier air ushering in. By this weekend, highs will dip into the 70’s with lows in the 40’s and 50’s.
