- FORECAST | More Rain Away
- Date posted
- Description
- We are starting out mild and muggy this morning with temperatures in the 60’s. Highs this afternoon will soar into the low-to-mid 80’s. As our next system approaches, scattered storms are possible in our northern counties, near the highway 84 corridor. If those storms can sneak this far south into our area, they could be severe with gusty winds, hail and a brief tornado possible. There is a level 2 out of 5 risk in place for those areas. Those closer to I-10 will likely stay dry throughout the day, but rain chances will increase for everyone tonight into Thursday as the front sags southward. An isolated strong storm or two is possible during the day Thursday. The front is then expected to stall close to our area Friday through the weekend into early next week, keeping scattered rain chances around through Mother’s Day.
