- Is it time for a new generation of politicians? Polls show that voters are concerned about the age and ability of aging presidents such as Joe Biden and Donald Trump, and about older members of Congress as well. Jesse Mermell, president of DeWit Impact Group, and Michael Astrue, former associate White House Counsel joined Gautam Makunda to talk about how much age matters, and how the 25th amendment works should the president need to be removed.
Then, MBTA closures, shutdowns and slow zones are nothing new to Boston residents, and there are more to come for the next month on the green line and orange line. Shuttle buses for these closures won’t be available, as the T has told riders to take bus routes or just walk. When will the frustration end? Brian Kane, executive director of the MBTA advisory board weighed in with Gautam.

- This single father's struggle for housing pushed him out of Boston, Massachusetts
- Date posted
- Description
- James Berger checked into a Braintree, Massachusetts hotel with his 9-year-old daughter last fall out of desperation. When the relative they were living with in Boston was evicted, they suddenly found themselves homeless. For months, Berger, a single father, worked 16-hour days to pay the weekly hotel bill while he scrambled to find housing he could afford.

The 76-year-old former Massachusetts Governor and 2012 Republican nominee for president cited his age as a key factor in his decision. But if he had run, Romney would have almost certainly faced a tough primary challenge after the backlash he faced from within his party for his opposition to Donald Trump.
