- Just before 2 P.M. Saturday, reports of a double, rollover vehicle accident in the 3000 block of Club Center Drive, were coming in. When fire and police arrived, they found two vehicles on their side, on the southeast corner of Club Center and Kankakee Drive, with one of the vehicles up in the yard of the home at that corner.
According to bystanders, the gray vehicle on the lawn was traveling west on Club Center Dr. when the northbound white vehicle pulled out striking the gray vehicle.
The driver of the gray vehicle was transported to the hospital via paramedics with unknown injuries. The driver of the white vehicle suffered minor injuries and declined medical transport.

- Just before 3 P.M. Tuesday, crews from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire in the 1650 block of Silica Ave. While en route, a law enforcement helicopter overhead, advised this was a fully involved motorhome fire, and the power lines were becoming involved, according to radio traffic.
When crews arrived on the scene they found two RV's on fire (the second caught fire from the radiant heat of the first RV across the street). A very large, dark black plume of smoke could be seen from miles away.
Responding firefighters executed fire attack on both fires and were able to get the fires under control and extinguished quickly.
According to reports, both RV units were occupied at the time and all occupants got out. There were no injuries reported and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.

- About 11 p.m. Friday, the Sacramento Police Department received a call from a subject stating he had been shot in the legs behind the church in the 700 block of T Street, according to radio reports.
When officers arrived, they found the victim bleeding behind the church in the parking area.
The victim was transported to the hospital, code 3 (lights and siren) via ambulance. CSI arrived to collect evidence and photograph the scene.
As officers and CSI investigated, evidence and shell casings were located in a walkway, between buildings, leading to the alley way behind the building.
The Sacramento Police Department stated:
“Officers responded to a report of a shooting. The suspect shot the victim resulting in non-life-threatening injuries to the victim. The victim was transported to a hospital for treatment. Officers canvassed the area for witnesses and evidence. A crime report was generated.”

- Just after midnight, Saturday crews from the Sacramento Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire in the area of 7th and J Streets.
When firefighters arrived, they found a large debris pile burning between buildings on the Merchant Street side, adjacent to the Downtown ice skating rink venue. They were able to extinguish the blaze quickly.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known and is under investigation. There were no injuries in this incident.

As security officers responded, the caller was direct to call 911. As officers from the Sacramento Police Department arrived, they made contact with a subject on the sidewalk adjacent to the Inn, which fit the description, but was not the shooter. - About 2 p.m. Sunday, a Sacramento Police Officer, in the area of The Promenade shopping center in the 3500 block of North Freeway Blvd., was hailed by a retailer indicating multiple subjects had just walked out with a large number of items, according to police radio reports. The officer kept a visual of the suspects, moving through the parking lot toward Panda Express, as she called for additional support.
As the officer moved closer to keep the subjects in view, they spotted the officer, dumped the items adjacent to their vehicle, and fled, ducking inside the Panera Bread restaurant.
Witnesses who were inside Panera, told PSN that they could tell that the three young ladies were obviously hiding, and they were frantically asking people for cell phone charges. At one point, all three females and the male with them, ducked into the men's restroom. Witnesses stated that the subjects even asked employees if they could use the employee exit to escape.

Just before 11:45 p.m. on July 16, officers on patrol reported hearing shots fired in the area of Front Street and L Street in Old Sacramento. When he arrived on scene, he found a pickup truck on fire from the inside of the cab, to well involved for a fire extinguisher. - Late Monday afternoon, the Sacramento Police Department was engaged in a standoff situation at Motel 6 on Jibboom Street, in the River District, just north of Downtown Sacramento.
Very few confirmed details are available at this point, but what we know is: according to reports, the subject, in room 105, may have been involved in robberies earlier in the day, utilizing a taxi as his mode of transportation.
We have not been able to confirm these details, but our understanding from radio traffic is that he committed the robberies by making the victims believe he may have had a bomb strapped on him with wires.
Portions of the motel were evacuated.
The subject came out on his own and was taken into custody without incident.

- A man wearing a Blue Knight Security uniform was apprehended late Sunday night. Sacramento Police received a report of shots fired in the area of Southside Park, off of 8th and W Streets in Downtown Sacramento.
Sacramento officers saturated the area; they located a male subject in a security uniform in possession of a high-powered rifle in the Victorian Alley off of 9th Street. On June 30, 2021 at approximately 12:21 a.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 200 block of Cadillac Dr after several callers reported hearing shots fired in the area. When officers arrived they located two victims, both adult males, who had been shot. One victim was declared deceased on scene and the second victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition by Sacramento Fire Department personnel.

- Traffic going eastbound on Fruitridge Rd at Helen Way just reopened following a double rollover accident.
Sacramento Police arrived on scene of a rollover accident around 3:19 p.m., where two vehicles rolled over on their sides and immediately called for fire.
Sacramento Fire responded but amazingly no one was seriously injured in the crash.
According to people in the area this has been a problem intersection before, with a serious crash at this intersection just a few days prior.
There are no red light cameras, and a long stretch without other street lights.

- At 1:43 Thursday morning, Sacramento Fire crews were dispatched to reports of a vegetation fire in the Expo area of Sacramento. The blaze was moving across a small field on Leisure Lane, between the two Hwy 16o entrances, and was pushing north with the wind.

- Just before 1 a.m., crews from the Sacramento Fire Department were dispatched to reports of a tree fire. While in route, more reports and details came in and they upgraded it to a full vegetation fire, first alarm assignment.
The fire was reported to be off of Garden Highway, but it had to be accessed off of a bike trail deep in Discovery Park, across the river from the former Rusty Duck property on Bercutt Drive.
The fire was difficult to access and first estimate was aprox 3 and half acres moving with a slow rate of spread.
After some time, the forward progress of the blaze was halted. Fire crews are now in an extended mop-up mode along with the dozer cutting lines around the fire.

- Yet another grass fire broke out today along the American River Parkway just before 3 p.m.
The fire was burning close to Cal Expo and smoke could be seen for miles.
Sac Metro Copter helped with water drops and to map the fire. A dozer also helped cut lines to stop the spread of the flames.
Initially crews were having issues with spots fires along the bike trail and continued to call for additional resources.
They allowed the fire to burn to the levee road and started doing firing operations to clear grass and brush ahead of the fire.
Forward progress was stopped at about 125 acres. This is one of several fires that burned in this area in the last week.
Crews will remain on scene for hours to mop up hot spots.

Tonight around 9 p.m., Sacramento Fire responded to a major grass fire along the American River Parkway near Cadillac Dr in Sacramento.
This was one of two fires burning along the American River at the same time. The other was closer to Cal Expo.
Both fires required multiple units to respond and were upgraded to 2nd alarm fires. This fire was the larger of the two.
At one point firefighters were worried about the fire and smoke affecting the power line directly above and backed off slightly.
The wind picked up several times, but luckily pushed the fire parallel to the bike trail as there are apartment complexes along Cadillac Dr.
A dozer was utilized to cut lines in the brush to help slow the spread of the fire.
After about an hour and a half, the fire started to die down and firefighters got a handle on it.

This afternoon, Sacramento Metro Fire responded to a grass fire near the Mather Airport in Sacramento.
The fire was on the west side of Excelsior Rd and got very close to the Mather neighborhood.
Sacramento Sheriff responded to help people evacuate homes along Aubergine Way near the Folsom Cordova Community Center School.
Metro Fire had a copter to assist and perform water drops to stop the spread.
No homes were damaged from the fire and the spread was stopped shortly after evacuations are complete.
According to radio traffic, the fire burned about 110 acres in the area.

- Just after 1 a.m. Friday, a Sacramento Police Officer called out a shots fired in the area of Bar West on J Street and 28th Street.
While additional police units were en route to the scene code 3 (lights and sirens), officers reported via radio that two subjects were in custody and a Glock handgun had been recovered.
As additional units arrived on the scene, a crime scene was established, and officers searched for bullet casings and evidence.
One detained subject was questioned and released. The other subject remained in custody. When CSI arrived, a GSR (Gun Shot Residue) test was utilized on his hands, the scene was documented and photographed and bullet casings along with one live round were collected.
According to reports, the shooter was on 28th Street and was firing north. Officers checked the park to the north and surrounding areas to be sure there were no victims anywhere.

This afternoon, police were called to Elk Grove High School because someone had reported seeing a student with a gun on campus.
Elk Grove Police and Sacramento Sheriff responded and set up a perimeter.
Students had to shelter in place while police went throughout the school, looking for the student and the weapon.
After clearing the campus, the student was found but did not have a gun.
According to radio traffic, the student had opened a stapler and pointed it, and it was mistaken for a gun.
Police slowly left the scene and students were then allowed to leave campus.

- Crews from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District and allied agencies, responded to reports of a commercial structure fire at Skips Fish and Chicken on Florin Road, just east of Stockton Blvd. When crews arrived they found smoke venting from the roof, but no visible fire from the roof or inside the restaurant.
As they investigated, it became apparent that the fire was isolated to the attic of the structure. As Truck crews worked to open the roof, the fire was building and as the roof was opened up, fire erupted from the structure as firefighters quickly made their way off the aerial ladder extended over the roof.
A second alarm was struck, bringing additional fire engines, fire trucks, and command staff. Fire crews eventually took a defensive stance on the fire and pulled everyone out of the building for safety.

- Sacramento Fire Department crews battled another 2 Alarm, 5.5 Acre vegetation fire that took off behind the Johnson Business Park. The business park is located off of Leisure Lane and Commerce Circle.
The Metro helicopter and Dozer were utilized as well as several pump-and-roll fire rigs, and water tenders.
No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation.

On May 15, 2021 at approximately 10:30 p.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the intersection of El Camino Avenue and Clay Street for a report of a vehicle vs. pedestrian collision.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female down in the roadway who had sustained major life-threatening injuries. Sacramento Fire Department personnel arrived and declared the victim deceased on scene. The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim had been struck by a vehicle and the suspect had fled the area after the collision.
The Sacramento Police Department’s Major Collisions Investigations Unit (MCIU) and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. - At 2:18 a.m. Sunday, Sacramento Fire Fighters from Engine 14 responded to reports of a vehicle fire on Garden Highway at Truxel Road.
They found a fully engulfed vehicle on the shoulder of westbound Garden Highway between Truxel Road and Northgate Blvd. As they arrived, the fire was starting to extend into nearby vegetatoin.
They were able to quickly bring the blaze under control, extengushing the vehicle fire and the vegetation withouth incident.
There were no injuries in the incidnet and the vehicle was empty and appered to be abandon.

- At 10:34 p.m. Saturday, crews from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District were dispattched to an apartment complex on Marconi Ave in the Arden Arcade area of Sacramento, for reports of an apartment fire.
When crews arrived, they had heavy smoke coming from a second floor apartment toward the back of the complex.
According to fire officials, the blaze orgionated from the kitchen area of the apartment.
The fire was quickly extinguished and no injuries were reported.

Westgate Dr and Northlea Way
Citrus Heights Police are looking for a wanted suspect in the area of Westgate Dr and Northlea Way.
Police attempted to pull over the subject for a traffic violation, but he took off on foot in this neighborhood.
Police are also looking in the area of Skyline Ct, Southgrove Dr and Northgrove Way.
PA announcements have just started to try and get the suspect to surrender.
Folsom Police also have a K-9 assisting as well.

- According to the Sacramento Police Department, at approximately 11:22 a.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Alvarado Blvd regarding a report that someone had been shot. Officers located a female adult victim who sustained at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound. A second victim, a male adult, was also located with at least one non-life-threatening gunshot wound. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival. The investigation is currently ongoing.

3600 21st Ave
Just before 11 p.m., Sacramento Fire and Sacramento Police responded to a vehicle accident with rollover involving two vehicles.
Once on scene they found one vehicle disabled at the intersection of 21st Ave and 36th St, and another vehicle on its side on a home owners front yard.
The vehicle had been involved in the collision at the intersection, and crashed through a fence leaving debris all over the yard and the sidewalk.
The vehicle also hit a few parked cars along the street.
Amazingly, no one was hurt in the crash.
The crash was so violent, it woke up several neighbors and many came outside to see what was going on.
Police attempted to do a field sobriety test on the driver of the overturned vehicle, but once they explained it, he suddenly complained of back pain.

This afternoon Sacramento Metro Fire and California Highway Patrol responded to a grass fire near 2600 Fulton Ave.
The fire got into the trees right next to an apartment complex and very close to power lines as well.
Firefighters quickly got the fire out on that side before it could spread to the building.
Crews were on scene for just under two hours for mop up and to put out any hot spots in the area.

- Crews from the Sacramento Fire Department were dispatched to Railyards Blvd. and 5th Street for reports of an active vegetation fire.
When crews arrived they found a roadside fire on the north side of Railyards on the other side of the fencing. Crews were able to quickly access the area and extinguish the blaze before it got out of hand.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and no injuries were reported.

- Early Saturday morning, as officers attempted to stop a vehicle for illegal window tenting, the driver took off and led officers on a pursuit throughout many neighborhoods of the South Sacramento area. Officers backed off as the CHP Airship surveilled the vehicle. He continued recklessly making evasive turns through gas stations and doubling back and forth along Freeport Blvd. and blacking out.
The subject finally bailed out of the vehicle in front of McClatchy High School, into the neighborhood.
The aircraft kept a visual on the subject and was able to direct officers, and K9, into a backyard where he was apprehended without further incident.

- Firefighters were called to at least separate fires Thursday night in Sacramento’s River District.
The first fire was reported around 7:40 p.m. on Railyards Blvd and 5th Street. Crews extinguished a fire burning in a field near the intersection.
There were reports of a subject that may have been seen setting the fire, but that person was not immediately located. A fire investigator was called to the scene.
The second fire was reported on Bercut Drive near Bannon Street. A fire crew arrived and quickly extinguished the flames which were burning trash and vegetation.
It’s unknown if the two fires are related.
