- Works and Highways Minister, Solan Mirisim is in the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, to cast government’s limelight on major road networks in the region.
The two-day visit by Minister Mirisim starts today where he will visit sections of the highway in Central and South Bougainville.
He will conclude his tour tomorrow when he inspect sections of the Ring Road on Buka Island.

- The Investment Promotion Authority preparing to host the second Regulators Summit at the end of this month.
IPA Managing Director, Clarence Hoot, says this is important as it aims at providing an environment where regulators and the private sector businesses come together and discuss their performances and challenges.
Meanwhile, the 2024 Regulators summit will be jointly hosted and co-funded by Investment Promotion Authority and Department of Information and Communications Technology.
IPA Managing Director, Clarence Hoot, says from the 2019 summit, I-P-A had found out that the regulators and the businesses were working in isolation and has been working to address these challenges.

- The Office of Censorship has announced a new initiative to partner with youths to address the country's ongoing censorship issues.
According to Deputy Chief Censor, Ilikomau Freda Ali, the collaboration aims to tackle the root causes of the problems plaguing the country's youth population.
She says Youths are an integral part of the society, and believes that by working together, innovative solutions can be created to address the issues affecting the youth bulge.
