“Can code developed by these AI models be trusted?” posed Brad Medairy, president of Booz Allen’s national cyber business.
According to the study, the vulnerabilities were not traditional malware or obvious malicious code. Instead, researchers said some models appeared to alter their behavior based on the identity of ...

- The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for several counties across western Washington in anticipation of more record heat for June, and with it comes a heightened risk of heat-related illness.
The advisory remains in effect from 11 a.m. Monday through 11 p.m. Wednesday. The region will likely experience hot conditions with temperatures expected around or above 85 to 90 degrees, which will significantly increase the risk of heat exhaustion, cramps, stroke and more, NWS said.
Experts added that these risks are higher for those who are sensitive to heat, especially people without effective cooling or hydration.
"It feels a lot more frequent, and they're [heat waves] closer and closer together," said Gwen Howell while walking through Seward Park Sunday.
Across the Puget Sound region, data from the U.S. Census Bureau shared this year showed considerable gaps in the number of households with access to air conditioning.
