- Another missed opportunity left the University of Hawaii football team searching for answers after a 21-10 homecoming loss to Mountain West-leading New Mexico, dropping the Rainbow Warriors to 1-6 overall and 0-4 in conference play.

Hawaii appeared poised to pull off an upset after shutting out the Lobos in the first half and forcing three turnovers. The Rainbow Warriors also benefited from 16 New Mexico penalties totaling 145 yards but failed to capitalize on numerous scoring opportunities.

- The industry legend, Lea Salonga will join the Hawai'i Symphony Orchestra for two concerts. Salonga's resume is loaded with many accomplishments including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has headlined many Broadway and West End productions.
Internationally and nationally acclaimed conductor Sarah Hicks brings her years of experience and will be conducting the concerts. Hicks grew up in Honolulu and is a graduate of Punahou High School is gearing up for the upcoming concerts.
Tickets are now available at myhso.org. The two shows are on Saturday, October 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, October 18 at 4 p.m.
