U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro shared security video that she said shows a suspected gunman shooting a Secret Service officer at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
"Today, we are releasing video already provided to U.S. District Court showing Cole Allen shoot a U.S. Secret Service officer during his attempt to assassinate the President," Pirro wrote on X Thursday night.
"There is no evidence the shooting was the result of friendly fire," she added.
According to Pirro, the video also shows Allen casing the area in the Washington Hilton the day before the attack.

Now, Napa Auto Parts in downtown Boise is the next local business partnering on a bird-safe window project with Boise State students. The project uses specially designed vinyl decals placed on glass in patterns and spacing that help birds recognize the window as a barrier and avoid it.
Organizers say it’s a simple solution that can help protect wildlife while giving students hands-on experience through real community partnerships.
