- HOUSTON, TX – A parking attendant was shot in the leg during an argument at an apartment complex parking lot near the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the 8400 block of Hearth.
According to information provided, the victim, a male in his mid-40s, was working as a parking attendant and collecting money from individuals to allow parking in the lot. A black male driving a black Cadillac Escalade, accompanied by two female passengers, arrived at the location.
An argument reportedly occurred over whether they could park in the lot. During the dispute, the driver shot the victim one time in the leg before fleeing the scene in the Cadillac Escalade.
The victim was transported to a hospital and is expected to be okay.

Witnesses stated the male was standing in the roadway next to the bicycle when he was hit.
The male’s identity is unknown at this time. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
One driver remained at the scene and told investigators he struck the male. It is possible other vehicles may have also run over the victim and did not remain at the scene.
No signs of alcohol were observed with the driver who remained. The investigation is ongoing.

- HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Three people were injured in a shooting following a disturbance at the entrance of a residence in Harris County.
The shooting occurred around 1:15 a.m. in the 2000 block of Bertrand.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, District 2 nightshift deputies responded to a life-in-danger call in progress. When deputies arrived, they located three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were identified as two adult males and one adult female.
All three victims were transported to local hospitals in various conditions. One victim was reported to be in critical condition and two were reported to be in stable condition.
Preliminary information indicates there was a disturbance at the entrance of the residence before shots were fired. The investigation is ongoing.

- HOUSTON, TX – A man was found shot in the middle of a street in a residential area of Houston.
The victim was discovered around 10:30 p.m. in the roadway near 12600 Brookglade Circle.
According to the Houston Police Department, the Houston Fire Department responded to a report of a person down after a passing driver reported seeing an individual lying in the road. When crews arrived, they located a male believed to be in his mid-50s suffering from trauma believed to be a gunshot wound.
The male was found lying in the middle of the roadway. His truck was located in a nearby parking lot.
Individuals in the area stated the man often came to the parking lot to visit with people and drink.
Surveillance video reportedly shows the victim possibly having words with two Black males who arrived in a white two-door sedan. Investigators said the video shows some type of disturbance, though it did not appear to be physical.

- HOUSTON, TX – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving an SUV at the intersection of North Post Oak and Woodway in Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, the crash occurred around 9:19 p.m. An 18-year-old male riding a crotch-rocket type motorcycle was traveling westbound on Woodway when the collision occurred.
Witnesses stated the motorcyclist was traveling at a high rate of speed and weaving in and out of traffic before striking the passenger side of a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was turning onto North Post Oak Lane to head north.
The motorcyclist struck the passenger side of the SUV and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Grand Cherokee, a male believed to be in his mid-50s, was not injured. The driver was reportedly heading to a nearby store to pick up Mucinex for his daughter because she was not feeling well.

The stabbing occurred around 7:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Redford in Houston.
Clear Lake Patrol officers were dispatched to the location for a reported cutting. The Houston Fire Department also responded and located an adult male who had been stabbed at least one time. The male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
While officers were attending to the victim, a male came out and turned himself in.
Police said preliminary information indicates two males were involved in some type of an argument, and during the argument one male stabbed the other.
