Associate Professor Lim Poh Lian explains how measles spreads, the symptoms to look out for, and the simple steps you can take to protect yourself and those around you, especially infants and vulnerable persons who cannot be vaccinated.
Ensuring you are fully vaccinated with two doses of the Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccine, practising good hygiene, and seeing a doctor promptly if you feel unwell are key to prevent the spread of measles in our community.

The key focus has been on their respective long-term performance, rather than short-term fluctuations, that is achieved within acceptable risk limits.
On this basis, GIC has achieved a real return of 3.8% per annum over the past 20 years, by balancing risk exposure against global market volatility.
Temasek operates at a higher risk level and does not operate against a conventional reference portfolio. Over the last two decades, Temasek has delivered a total shareholder return of 8% per annum in US dollar terms despite the challenging investment landscape.
