- In response to the US' intended implementation of 100% tariff on all branded or patented pharmaceutical products, Singapore is engaging the US Administration to secure a preferential tariff arrangement for exports given that pharmaceutical industry is a key contributor to Singapore’s economy. With greater global uncertainty, the five committees undertaking the Economic Strategy Review (ESR) will provide an update in due course.
