- Title
- Strengthening Assurance for Seniors
- Date posted
- Description
- As our population ages, the Government will provide more support for our seniors to help them age well and live with dignity, security and peace of mind. This includes helping them plan ahead for their later-stage careers and supporting them in refreshing their skills.
The Senior Employment Credit will be extended until end-2027 to support employers who continue to employ senior workers.
The Government will also strengthen retirement support through an enhanced CPF system. For instance, seniors will have higher CareShield Life premium subsidies to help cushion the impact of higher premiums. Singaporeans aged 50 and above, and with CPF retirement savings below the Basic Retirement Sum, will have a CPF top-up of up to $1,500.
