As South Sudan reflects on its future, many continue to remember the vision of the late Dr. John Garang de Mabior. He believed the true purpose of a revolution was to improve people’s lives through education, healthcare, food security, and economic opportunities.
Question
Do you think the vision shared by the late Dr. John Garang about good governance, service delivery, and self-reliance is still relevant for South Sudan today? Why or why not?

A public exchange between Dr. Ting Mayai and University of Juba Vice Chancellor Prof. John Akec has sparked a national debate on the quality of higher education in South Sudan.
Question
As we are going to celebrate 15 years next month What changes would you like to see in South Sudan’s universities to better prepare young people for the job market? And do you agree that South Sudan is producing graduates with degrees but without practical skills? If not, what do you think is the biggest challenge facing university graduates today?

Today Morning we discuss
As South Sudan prepares for elections expected later this year, CEPO Executive Director Edmund Yakani is calling for an inclusive national dialogue before campaigns begin.
Yakani warns that unresolved political grievances continue to undermine trust among leaders, making consensus difficult. He says peaceful, credible, and non-violent elections will only be possible if all political stakeholders are included in a genuine dialogue process.
He is urging the government to take the lead in organizing the dialogue before the country heads to the polls.
Question:
Do you consider South Sudan should hold elections first, or focus on an inclusive national dialogue before elections? Why?
