Syria's Permanent Representative to the UN Bashar al-Jaafari stressed on Tuesday that the Syrian government is combating the Qatari- and Saudi-funded takfiri terrorist groups on behalf of the whole world.
Addressing the UN General Assembly Social, Humanitarian Cultural Affairs Committee (Third Committee) prior to voting on a Saudi-proposed draft resolution against Syria under the title 'Human Rights Condition in the Syrian Arab Republic', al-Jaafari lashed out at the Saudi, Qatari and Turkish regimes as being fully to blame for the continuation of terrorist acts that target civilians, military personnel and infrastructure in Syria.
