Drivers have been queueing up at petrol stations as an escalation in the Iran war sends the price of crude up even further.
Christopher Luxon said national fuel supplies were okay for now, and whether to move New Zealand up a fuel escalation level is not being considered at this stage.
On what type of 'targeted' relief New Zealanders could expect, Nicola Willis said she had engaged with IRD to work on some options, but Luxon has warned against measures that could drive up inflation.

They are one of six host homes in west Auckland in a programme called The Safety Net, who house homeless rangatahi to get them off the streets while more permanent housing is found.
Tony said having young people stay had opened his eyes to their struggles. "The benefit has been benefiting them. It's given me greater insight into what goes on that we didn't have before."
Josh Hendry oversaw The Safety Net and said since it began two years ago they had found stable housing for 36 rangatahi who were hosted by families short-term, just a few nights or a week.

Much of Christopher Luxon's Pacific visit has consisted of events and announcements highlighting stronger collaboration on transnational crime, with Luxon saying the Pacific had become a "super highway" for cartels.
During a visit to Tonga's police headquarters, Luxon announced further support for the Pacific Detector Dog Programme, an initiative jointly-managed by New Zealand Police and Customs.
Luxon also announced Samoa and Tonga would receive two-year funded subscriptions to the Starboard Maritime Intelligence platform, which would allow their transnational crime units to monitor suspicious vessels in real time.
Luxon and his delegation return to New Zealand on Wednesday evening.

Four people, one of who was armed with a machete, carried out the home invasion in Howick before stealing a white Ford ute and heading south, shortly after 3pm, Manukau area commander Shanan Gray said.
The superintendent said the ute reached high speeds and drove dangerously, sometimes on the wrong side of the road. At times the ute crashed into cars and rammed patrol cars as they headed into the city.
Members of the police armed offenders squad (AOS) joined in the chase and a sponge round was fired. A police dog was also used in the arrest.

Speaking to media during a visit to Samoa, Luxon said New Zealand is "relatively well-positioned" compared to other countries but they still want to be prepared as they can be.
Over March, the average price of 91 has risen about 50c a litre, according to price monitoring app Gaspy with the average price as of Monday coming in at just over $3 on average across the country.
Westpac chief economist Kelly Eckhold told RNZ if the crisis were to continue, the price of oil could hit US$200 a barrel, which would take retail petrol prices past $4.

His injury was misdiagnosed for years, and the wrong treatment plan meant his recovery was hindered. At one point he was even cut off from support. Then he discovered ACC had been watching him, investigating whether he was faking his condition.
ACC says it has investigated Jeremy’s concerns about how his injury is coded and the fraud investigation - and it has apologised for the stress the investigation has caused him. But Jeremy says it's not enough, he wants formal recognition and help to deal with the aftermath of being spied on.
