- Roseville Police and Fire were on scene of a vehicle accident in the western part of Roseville.
Initially, it was reported that someone may be trapped in the vehicle, but they were able to self extricate.
One female patient was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the collision is now under investigation.

On Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at approximately 9:30 p.m., the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office Communications Center received a 3-round ShotSpotter activation. North Division Patrol Deputies were dispatched and arrived at the 3800 block of Madison Avenue in North Sacramento County.
Arriving deputies located an adult male who had sustained a gunshot to the torso and was laying in the eastbound side of the roadway. Deputies applied a chest seal to the unconscious victim and initiated CPR. Metro Fire arrived and pronounced the male deceased a short time later. The suspect fled the scene and is outstanding.
Homicide Detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence. No suspect or further information is available at this time.

Early Saturday morning, SacPD's District 6 Sergeant (Sam6) and additional officers, became involved in a high-speed pursuit with two Dodge Chargers fleeing the scene of a burglary of a marijuana dispensary in the area of 14th Avenue and Power Inn Road. The pursuit entered westbound Highway 50 at speeds over 110/120 miles per hour. The pursuit was terminated for safety.

- At about 7:15 P.M., officers in the area heard shots fired in the area of Truxel Road and West El Camino, according to radio traffic. As officers arrived in the area of Cheers Sports Bar, where a homicide recently occurred, they were met with a large hostile and fighting crowd. As one subject fled, a foot pursuit ensued, however, officers lost sight of the subject.
Officers saturated the area as they attempted to break up and disperse several fights and arguments.
The shots were fired in the parking lot in front of Cheers and Grocery Outlet, where a memorial has been erected for the victim, recently shot and killed inside Cheers.

Just before 2:30 Sunday morning, crews from the Sacramento Fire Department and CHP responded to reports of a major vehicle accident on Northbound Interstate 5 between Richards and Garden highway on the via-duct.
When crews arrived, they found one vehicle with major rear-end damage against the guardrail on the right-hand shoulder. A second vehicle, with significant front-end damage, was facing the wrong way in the two right lanes.
According to CHP reports, the driver of that vehicle was seen fleeing on foot down the freeway toward the Garden Highway exit. He was later found by CHP hiding in the bushes on the Garden Highway Offramp.
One passenger in the other vehicle was extricated and transported to the hospital with unkown injuries.

On September 13, 2022 shortly before 12:40 a.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the 1600 block of West El Camino Avenue regarding a report that a subject had been shot. When officers arrived on scene, they located one victim, a male adult, who sustained serious injuries from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding medical personnel. A second male adult victim was located, also with at least one gunshot wound. The second victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. They will be processing the scene, canvassing the area, and interviewing witnesses. - Just after 3 a.m. Saturday, police, fire and medical crews responded to reports of a vehicle rollover accident with fire. Officers found the vehicle, which had apparently rolled and tumbled across the road, through a light pole landing nearly into a building and burst into flames.
According to reports, the driver was found about 100 feet away from the vehicle with some facial trauma. He was transported to the hospital via paramedics.

Crews were able to set backfires and prevent Worton's Market from the fire.
At this time, the fire has not crossed Foresthill Rd to the other side.
A couple structures and handful of vehicles did burn in a lot across from the high school, near Baltimore Mine Rd.

- Around 7:52 p.m. on September 8, Sacramento Fire crews were dispatched to a residential structure fire along Naomi Way, near Connie Drive.
Smoke and fire could be seen from Business 80, and when crews arrived, they asked for a 2nd alarm.
Power lines were also involved in the fire, making the fight more complicated.
Connie Drive is shut down between the freeway offramp and Marconi Ave.
The main bulk of the fire has been knocked down at this time but crews will be on scene for quite a while.
There have been no injuries reported at this time.

On Saturday, September 03, 2022, at approximately 11:02 p.m., the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call from the intersection of Trade Wind Avenue/Fulton Avenue, regarding a shooting that had just occurred. The caller advised a male subject had been shot inside of a vehicle.
Deputies responded and located an adult male suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his upper body. Deputies performed life-saving measures while awaiting fire. Fire personnel arrived a short time later and pronounced the subject deceased at the scene.
The identity of the victim, in this case, will be released by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office after identification and notification of next of kin.

- California Highway Patrol says one was killed and two others are very critical, from a fiery, rollover vehicle crash that occurred on Westbound Business 80 just before Marconi.
The incident occurred at Connie Drive and Naomi Way at 12:30 a.m. Monday.
California Highway Patrol tells PSN that the vehicle was traveling westbound on Business 80 when it departed the highway, crashed and rolled through the fencing, and landed in the middle of the road on Connie.
Two persons were ejected; bystanders pulled one person from the vehicle that burst into flames.
One of the ejected persons was pronounced deceased on scene per CHP. The other two were transported to the hospital via paramedics in very critical condition.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.

- Just after 9 P.M. Wednesday, crews from the Roseville Fire Department and allied agencies, responded to reports of a warehouse fire in the 8000 block of Washington Blvd. There were early reports of possible occupants inside the structure.
Fire crews had an active fire and smoke inside the storage area of the building. Crews initiated an aggressive interior attack and extinguished the fire. Upon arrival crews heard explosions inside the facility storage area, Battalion Chief Matt Lauchner stated. The explosions were most likely caused by helium tanks used to fill balloons.
After a primary search of the building, it was determined there were no occupants inside. Damages were limited to the contents of the building and items they had on storage racks. The fire also spread to some of the interior walls. - According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's office on Friday, July 15, 2022, at approximately 8:48 p.m., an officer from an outside agency attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle in the area of 65th Street and 14th Avenue. When the driver failed to yield, a vehicle pursuit ensued. Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office assisted in this pursuit.
In an attempt to evade officers, the driver drove recklessly into oncoming traffic and failed to stop at stop signs. The driver of the vehicle led officers through densely populated areas of the city and county of Sacramento driving at speeds in excess of 110 mph. During the pursuit, officers observed two occupants in the vehicle. Pursuing officers witnessed the suspects throwing several items from the vehicle; one of the items was a silver, metallic object. After the initial pursuit, the outside agency discontinued.

What we know is, at about 1:50 a.m., shots were fired on the 16th Street side of Public House, adjacent to the MIX, at 16th and J Streets, according to bystanders.
Initial radio reports stated three victims were shot, one with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, under CPR. There were reports of a fourth victim who showed up at a local hospital.

- At about 11:30 a.m. Saturday, the Sacramento Fire and Police Departments responded to reports of a vehicle crashed into the Hindu Temple in the 7700 block of La Mancha Way.
When crews arrived, they found a vehicle had partially crashed into the side wall of the structure.
According to reports, there was some sort of dispute inside the vehicle, resulting in the vehicle departing the roadway and crashing into the occupied structure where a gathering was in progress.
Directly on the other side of that wall was an elderly lady, whom all the debris from the crash came down upon, according to reports. She was transported to the hospital via paramedic ambulance with what appeared to be minor to moderate injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, whose license was suspended, was arrested and transported to the Sacramento County Main Jail.

The fire started near Sutters Landing on the south side of the fire and spotted to the north side.The fire started about 2 hrs ago, but large amounts of smoke can still be seen and crews are still working on getting the fire out.
A Sac Metro copter has advised the fire is roughly 27 acres. No word on containment.Traffic will continue to be impacted on both sides of Business 80.
An investigator has been requested to the south side where the fire started to determine the cause.

When crews arrived they had a large area of vegetation burning. Metro Fire Department's helicopter responded, but was unable to make water drops due to high-voltage power lines in the area. According to radio reports, there have been several fires in the area recently and fire investigators were called to the scene.

- On Friday, June 24, 2022, at approximately 3:44 a.m., the Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call in the 2800 block of El Centro Road regarding a shooting that had just occurred. The caller advised a female subject had been shot inside of the business and was lying on the floor.
Deputies responded and located an adult female suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Deputies performed life-saving measures while awaiting Sacramento Metro Fire. Fire personnel arrived a short time later, and transported the victim to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased hours later.
Homicide detectives and Crime Scene investigators responded to the scene, interviewed witnesses and gathered evidence. The DUI driver of this vehicle hit a parked car in the driver’s rear quarter-panel, rolling his own vehicle; just as the DUI driver did in an almost identical incident the next morning, just a few blocks east. No significant injuries were reported in either incident.

- Authorities were made aware of a submerged pickup truck in the Beaver Slough at Blossom Road, by a fisherman who spotted the vehicle's outline on his fishfinder.
The DART team and Central Valley Tow arrived at the site around 10:30 Friday morning and began working to extract the truck from the waterway.
The DART team had to make three dives; each time they connected to tow cable to the truck, pieces of the truck would pull apart due to deterioration.
Eventually the tuck was successfully extracted from the slough. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied. It was determined that the vehicle had been in the slough for 21 years.
No one was injured during the operation.

On June 2, 2022, just after 6:20 a.m., Sacramento Police Department patrol officers responded to the area of Lampasas Avenue and Edgewater Road for a report of multiple gunshots that were heard in the area. When officers arrived on scene, they located one male adult victim with at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding personnel from the Sacramento Fire Department.
Homicide detectives and crime scene investigators responded to take over the investigation. They conducted a thorough canvass of the area for evidence and witnesses. This incident appears to have occurred at an encampment that was occupied by numerous people experiencing homelessness. This investigation remains in its early stages and the circumstances of the incident remain under investigation. There is no suspect information to provide at this time.

Shortly after 2:30 a.m. this morning, officers responded to the 4100 block of Florin Perkins Rd for a report of a subject possibly breaking into a vehicle. Officers detained three suspects at the scene and observed evidence that the suspects were stealing a catalytic converter from a nearby vehicle. The three suspects were arrested for theft and vandalism charges.
As of May 24, there were 399 reported catalytic converter thefts. This compares to 660 year-to-date in 2021, 433 YTD in 2020, and 126 YTD in 2019.

CHPD officers quickly arrived and located a male subject suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in the walkway of an apartment complex. The 20-year-old male subject was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Officers then located an additional male subject with multiple gunshot wounds inside a nearby apartment.
