According to police, after receiving the information from residents through their control room, officers from the Grove Police Station responded and found the body of a man partially decomposed.
The identity of the man has not yet been confirmed. However, we will provide more information as they come.

Margo Cartwright says her brother, Mark Cartwright, is the second of her brothers to come to Nassau from Eleuthera to fish and lose his life at sea.

Minister of Works Clay Sweeting said three lift stations will be installed throughout the Pinewood Gardens community, including one on Sapodilla Boulevard, where the drainage project is now underway. Officials say the area is ground zero for flooding in Pinewood Gardens.
Assistant Engineer at the Ministry of Works Mario Smith said there are approximately 50–60 drains throughout the Pinewood Gardens community.

The government has allegedly walked away from the negotiation table, according to Bahamas Union of Teachers (B.U.T.) President Belinda Wilson.
In a voice note released last night, Wilson told B.U.T. members she was contacted by the government's lead negotiator, who informed her that the government was no longer continuing negotiations. She said talks between the B.U.T. and the government had been scheduled to resume today.
The development comes after Minister of Education, Chester Cooper said last week that negotiations with the B.U.T. over longstanding issues were progressing and nearing completion.

A man believed to be in his 30’s according to police has been fatally shot on Father Calnan Road on Wednesday night.
Police Press Liaison Sheria King says that the victim was outside a home when he was gunned down by one of two suspects that approached the home on a moped.
The victim was not a resident of the area, according to King.

A fatal car crash in Grand Bahama took the life of a 22-year-old man and sent a woman to the hospital.
Police on that island say it happened around midnight on Ludford Road, after a grey Honda Pilot collided with a grey Kia Rio. According to investigators, the man driving the Kia Rio died at the scene, while the woman driving the Honda Pilot, who had minor injuries, was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital by EMS.
Police said their initial investigations revealed that the Kia was headed west along Ludford Road when the Honda’s driver attempted to turn right, resulting in the deadly collision.

The Aircraft Accident Investigation Authority (AAIA) held its first press conference this morning since Friday's deadly crash to provide an update on the investigation.
Chief Investigator Kendall Dorsett Jr. said the preliminary investigations show the aircraft's landing gear and flaps were extended, leading investigators to conclude the plane was preparing to land when it crashed.
Dorsett said a preliminary report is expected within 30 days, while the final report could take up to a year.
