Hundreds of peaceful protestors have been arrested on terror offences in London for silently holding signs saying: “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action." However, many still remain in Trafalgar Square defying the proscription of the group.
Despite the best efforts of a handful of far right agitators to disrupt the action, it continued to be peaceful. The mood, though, was more somber than on previous occasions, as participants reflected on, and mourned, the anti-Semitic attack on a Manchester synagogue last week, in which two people were killed.

He said his father had been held in various concentration camps in Poland before he was able to come to Britain as a refugee, and that it was "absolutely shameful" that the UK refuses to do the same thing today for those trapped in war zones like Gaza.

Over 1,000 people have shown up to the @defendourjuries protest in Trafalgar Square to demonstrate against the proscription of Palestine Action, all while showing solidarity with Jewish communities mourning the terror attack in Manchester on Thursday.
Hundreds are currently sat in silence, observing a vigil while holding signs that say: “I oppose genocide, I support Palestine Action”. Dozens have already been arrested in the last few hours, with the action likely to continue throughout the rest of the day.
One Jewish woman who had previously been arrested under terror offences in August for holding a similar sign for the previous protest in Parliament Square told Novara Media that it is conflating anti-Semitism with criticism of Israel’s genocide that actually “drives hatred of Jews”.

- The final boat in the Global Sumud Flotilla was intercepted just after 10.30am local time on Friday morning, with around a dozen Israeli soldiers filmed boarding the tiny sailing vessel.
The Marinette, with six people on board, had lagged behind the 41 boats which were intercepted between Wednesday night and Thursday morning, meaning it entered the area where Israel is known to illegally intercept boats far later.
It was intercepted at about the same point as many of the boats taken on Thursday morning - near enough to territorial waters to make it easy for soldiers to take the boat to Ashdod port, but certainly not within sight of Gaza.
The Mikeno, another small sailing vessel that organisers say had six people on board, is the only boat that may have reached territorial waters - although there are inconsistencies in its tracker readings that bring this into question. Organisers still do not currently know what happened to it.

But the flotilla is still sailing. At the time of writing, it was within 118 nautical miles of Gaza and approaching the point at which the Madleen was intercepted in June.
Lead ships Alma and Sirius both temporarily lost connection as unidentified boats approached and circled them just before dawn, in one case almost causing a collision.
The incident happened in international waters an estimated 140 nautical miles from the coast of Gaza.
