PCs Abbie Ellison, Sophie North and Kasia Siergiejew sprang into action while on routine patrol when a man in his 50s suffered a medical episode and crashed his mobility scooter.
The quick-thinking Officers quickly began CPR and used a defibrillator, helping to resuscitate him before emergency services arrived.
PC North later said it was her first time being flagged down to perform CPR and weeks later, the man personally thanked her, which she called a “full-circle moment.”

- A homeowner said he 'cannot quantify' the damage that has been caused in his house which he says has been caused by nearby construction work. Mike Edwards, 44, of Marshall Close in Bromborough, purchased his home from Persimmon Homes in 2019.
He claims the property has been damaged and items inside have been broken following the start of piling work on adjacent land earmarked for a new housing development. According to Mr Edwards, the construction activity caused intense vibrations throughout his property, resulting in cracks to walls, ceilings and skirting boards, and items being dislodged from shelves - including his 75-inch television, which he said was knocked to the floor and no longer works.
He also said his dog was so distressed by the noise and vibrations that she made a mess in the house.
The work involved piling for new foundations, a process known to generate ground vibrations.

One woman who has lived near the scene for a year said she heard two men fighting between 7am and 8am.
She told the ECHO: “They woke me up screaming. I looked out my window and I saw another neighbour speaking to them. I heard him say to one of them sit down you’ve got blood on your arm."

- Emergency services were called to a student accommodation block opposite Lime Street station last night after a huge piece of equipment was seen dramatically dangling and swinging from the building amid strong winds from Storm Dave. Road closures and a cordon were put in place at around midnight.
When the ECHO visited this morning (Sunday, April 5), two police cars were still at the scene, and Lime Street station car park was blocked off to visitors. A fire cordon remained around the scaffolding on the building, but the main police cordon had been removed. A road closure was still in place on Skelhorne Street towards Copperas Hill.

- Officers from Merseyside Police were on patrol in the Baltic Triangle area on October 4 last year when they noticed a man acting suspiciously on Kitchen Street and trying to evade being noticed.
They searched the man and although no drugs were found, he had an overwhelming smell of cannabis emanating from him. A cannabis farm was located in a warehouse nearby with more than 650 plants growing in five separate growing rooms.
The majority of them were in a mature stage of growth ready to be harvested. Officers arrested 21 men at the scene and they were all charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis. The men were sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday.

Millions of people across the country will tuck into a fish supper for Good Friday, a tradition that is rooted in the nation’s history. It is a custom widely followed by Catholics – but also observed by Christians across Britain.
The practice of only eating fish on Good Friday comes from a rule in the Bible of not eating the meat of warm-blooded animals on Fridays. Good Friday is historically a day of sacrifice.
As meat is considered symbolic of celebration and feasting, not eating it for the duration of the day is highly significant for the church. The church clarified fish as the best alternative to eat on Good Friday as it is not a ‘land animal’.
