Robinson's lawyers called Bryan Edelman, a social psychologist, for pretrial testimony. On the subject of cameras in court, Edelman said, "I think it creates pressure on everybody to have cameras in here, from the jury to everyone involved.”
Robinson has not yet entered a plea and a trial date has not been set.

- Newly released video shows an Oklahoma high school principal being shot in the leg after confronting an armed man who entered the school, authorities said.
Pauls Valley High School Principal Kirk Moore is in stable condition, and no students were injured in the shooting, according to authorities.
The suspect, a 20-year-old former student, was taken into custody, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokesman Hunter McKee told reporters outside the school.
The 48-second video shows Moore emerging from behind a wall and tackling the gunman onto a bench as students nearby ran away.
Moore and other staff members quickly confronted the former student after they noticed he entered the school with a gun, McKee said.

- Singer D4vd has been arrested in connection to the murder of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
The Los Angeles Police Department announced on social media on Thursday, April 16 that the singer, whose real name is David Burke, has been arrested.
LAPD said the case will be presented to the District Attorney’s office on Monday for filing consideration. D4vd is being held without bail, LAPD said on social media.
Back in September 2025, Rivas Hernandez's body was found inside the trunk of an abandoned Tesla in Los Angeles. It was later revealed during the early stages of investigations that the Tesla was registered under the singer's name and that Rivas Hernandez may have been dead for several weeks before her body was eventually discovered.
D4vd and Rivas Hernandez were previously dating before the latter's disappearance. She was first reported missing Lake Elsinore in April 2024.
