President Donald Trump oversaw the strikes from the Situation Room, according to FOX News Correspondent Trey Yingst. Trump told FOX he spoke directly with Iranian officials tonight who asked him to stop bombing as dozens of Tomahawk missiles were fired. The president added that if Iran doesn't sign a deal to end the conflict, the U.S. will "bomb the shit out of them," calling this the "most violated ceasefire in the history of the world."

- Karmelo Anthony has filed a notice of appeal following his murder conviction in the fatal stabbing at a Frisco track meet.
On Tuesday, a Collin County jury found Anthony guilty of murder and sentenced him to 35 years in prison. The filing of a notice of appeal is the first step in challenging the conviction and sentence before a higher court. It is a routine procedure in serious felony cases and does not mean a new trial has been granted.
Following sentencing, Anthony was booked into the Collin County Jail, where a new booking photo was taken.
On Wednesday, he was transported to TDCJ, where another new booking photo was taken. After intake, he was transported to his unit of assignment at the Pack Unit near Navasota.

- On Tuesday, Republicans’ sweeping immigration enforcement and border security package cleared the House, ending a months-long standoff with Democrats over funding President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown agenda.
The $70 billion immigration enforcement measure passed 214-212 over the fierce objections of Democrats, who unanimously voted against the package. California Independent Representative Kevin Kiley who caucuses with Republicans, also joined Democrats in opposing the measure.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), and Rep. Lisa McClain (R-MI.) delivered remarks following the House's passage of the bill.

US Central Command says the soldiers were safely rescued within approximately two hours and are in stable condition. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
Rescue efforts were led by U.S. Naval Forces Central Command and the 82nd Airborne Division, with support from U.S. Air Force and Navy units including U.S. 5th Fleet’s Task Force 59.
