- British entrepreneur and content creator Simon Squibb, who has 27 million social media followers, is teaming up with the 1 Billion Followers Summit to launch ‘100 Dreams’, an initiative supporting aspiring entrepreneurs and content creators.
The programme will select 100 participants, each receiving $10,000 and six weeks of free training and business support to help transform their ideas into sustainable businesses.
But Squibb believes success takes more than funding.
“We need to lean into this idea that what we love can be monetised and what we love can be our purpose,” he told Khaleej Times.
Having started his first business at just 15, Squibb says the initiative is about giving others the guidance he never had.
Applications are expected to open in November.
His advice? “If you don't enter, you're absolutely right, you won't win.”
