- October 16, 2022 - A suspected intoxicated driver was found by police in the roundabout near Herman Park in the Museum District of Houston after he ran his vehicle onto a curb and fell asleep at one point.
User-generated video provided to houstonstringer.com (shown at the beginning of this video) shows the driver stumbling around his vehicle before entering and turning north onto Fannin St., which is a one-way street that runs south.
The witness stated that as they were about to call 911, the driver (who turned around when he saw was facing two trucks in front of him after turning the wrong way) sped off, and ran several lights. The witness lost sight of him somewhere on Fannin. Police found the man around 1:30 a.m.
After paramedics with the Houston Fire Department made sure the man did not need medical attention, the man was taken into custody by the Houston Police Department.

- October 11, 2022, A cyclist was killed after falling into the lane of an oncoming car in the Montrose District of Houston during a 'Pride Ride' just before 8 p.m. in the 2200 block of W. Dallas Police say the vehicle struck him, then ran him over as the driver fled the scene in a silver Mercedes E-Class. Police are currently searching for this vehicle and the driver.
According to the "Pride Bike Ride Houston" Facebook page, the cyclist's name was Shane. The ride, which is a regularly occurring ride started at the Eagle Houston bar around 7:30 p.m., which is also located in the Montrose District of Houston. As of right now, all future rides have been canceled at this time.

- September 17, 2022 - According to initial reports, just after 2:30 a.m., a man was shot before crashing his vehicle into a tree in the 6600 Block of Maybank Dr. in the Spring Branch area of Houston.
When first responders arrived, he was reportedly found laying in a yard.
Update: Police say the victim who was with two friends was approached by three men outside Volcan nightclub on Little York and I-45 when one of them decided to rob the victim, taking his necklace.
The victim and his friends decided to follow the suspects and ended up on Maybank near Silber Road (a dead-end) and found themselves trapped.
According to police, that is when the shooting started and the victim was shot multiple times by at least two of the suspects.
It is still not clear when the victim crashed his vehicle.
