According to Houston Police, preliminary information indicates the suspect, a man in his 30s, was known to the victim, who was also in his 30s. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division, a male identified as Alexandro Aguilar was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette when he failed to drive in a single lane and struck a concrete median wall. The vehicle flipped over, ripping open the convertible top.
Harris County ESD 11 EMS responded and found Aguilar with no signs of life at approximately 12:08 a.m. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

- HOUSTON, TX – Officers responded to an officer-involved shooting Friday night after a juvenile suspect displayed a firearm while fleeing from police. No officers or suspects were injured.
Around 8:30 p.m., officers located a stolen vehicle that had been involved in a hit-and-run accident earlier in the day. The victim of the hit-and-run reported that individuals inside the vehicle had displayed firearms.
Officers followed the vehicle to the 11900 block of Oakmoor Street, where marked units initiated a traffic stop at approximately 9:05 p.m. to take the occupants into custody. There were five individuals inside the vehicle. Two were taken into custody immediately, while three others fled on foot.
During the chase, a juvenile suspect ran toward Airport Boulevard while displaying a firearm, prompting an officer to discharge his weapon at least once. The suspect was not struck by gunfire, dropped the firearm, and surrendered to officers.

HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police, in coordination with multiple agencies, raided The Library, an illegal after-hours strip club in the 2700 block of TC Jester. The operation, part of HPD’s “Take Back the Communities” initiative, targeted the unlicensed establishment, which had no business or alcohol permits.
According to Assistant Chief James Skelton, officers found multiple individuals inside, resulting in several arrests. The raid was conducted with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety, the district attorney’s office, and multiple other agencies.

- HOUSTON, TX – Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred on the Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) earlier this morning.
The crash happened around 5:45 a.m. in the 5900 block of the Southwest Freeway.
According to the Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division, the driver of a white Ford Expedition had a flat tire and stopped in a moving lane of traffic. A black Kia Sportage struck the rear of the Ford, and a silver BMW 5 Series then collided with the Kia.
The unknown male driver of the Ford fled the scene on foot. Paramedics transported the Ford’s passenger, three occupants of the Kia, and the driver of the BMW to area hospitals. Doctors later pronounced the front male passenger of the Kia, 18, deceased. The other individuals sustained minor injuries.

- ATASCOCITA, TX – Firefighters responded to a large fire at Dirt Cheap Mulch Co., located at 4460 FM 1960, on Monday evening around 9 p.m.
According to the Atascocita Fire Department, firefighters arrived at the scene and found a large piece of commercial equipment had become fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked to contain the fire while thick smoke affected visibility in the area.
As a precaution, FM 1960 Rd East near Artesian Way was temporarily closed in both directions. Pct. 4 Constable deputies also responded, blocking traffic for a short time to assist firefighters and ensure safety. The roadway has since been reopened.
