Family members and several hundred people welcomed the crew of the second-to-last shuttle mission at Houston's Ellington Airport after the shuttle's 16-day journey to the International Space Station.
The trip marked the last mission for Endeavour, the youngest shuttle of the fleet. Space Shuttle Atlantis will close out the program with a re-supply mission to the space station no earlier than July 8.
Endeavour has flown 25 missions, spent 299 days in space and orbited Earth 4,671 times, according to NASA.

The Galveston Island Beach Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard, the island marine division and firefighters searched for the man. The man's body was recovered after washing ashore at 2:15 a.m. Friday.
