- A resident left traumatised by his view of Grenfell Tower carried out a safety test in his block of flats which he claims shows fire doors are not working properly.
Paul Croucher ignited smoke pellets on the 11th floor which sent smoke up to the top of his 17-storey block in west London in just 90 seconds.
Westminster Council said it was in the process of replacing all fire doors on the estate and warned Mr Croucher that his actions had alarmed neighbours.

But now the first aphasia clinic in the UK, The National Brain Appeal Aphasia Service, has opened and it's using groundbreaking technology to help stroke survivors across London.

- A report from the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education in 2017 said that out of 9,115 children's books published that year, only 1% had a BAME main character. Now a new bookshop in Brixton is trying to give children a chance to read books featuring black, Asian or minority ethnic (BAME) protagonists.

- A group of cancer patients have launched a hard-hitting photographic campaign in response to “pink and fluffy” adverts by some cancer charities which they say “don’t tell the truth” about the brutal reality of the disease.
True Cancer Bodies was set up by Vicky Saynor after she saw a campaign video from the Breast Cancer Now charity, which she says used insensitive language and images. Breast Cancer Now has since apologised and has removed the video from its social media channels. But Vicky says more work needs to be done to show the reality of living with cancer.

He is visiting primary schools around London and reading to 5-11 year-olds.
