A South Bend house fire caused only minor damage -- thanks to the quick work of firefighters! The fire broke out just after 9:30 near the corner of Terrace Lane and Douglas Road. That's on the city's north side. It didn't take long to put the fire out. In fact, Clay Township firefighters had everything under control minutes after they arrived on the scene.
This is Part 3 in a 3 part exclusive series about a family that says they are getting harassed by police and emergency crews. Together the Ware family has had crews show up at their homes more than 120 times in less than a year.
Indiana State Police continue to investigate where these calls are coming from.

The Sheriff reacts to 911 calls to the Ware's home. So far in less than a year more than 120 calls have been made to their home. The Ware's say they are not making the calls and blame police for harassment. Deputies say they are just doing their job.
Indiana State Police is investigating.
