When you add in the strong winds, wind chills will be in the 20s for many (slightly warmer across the southern half of the area).
These cold temperatures will settle in for the beginning of the week. Morning lows will drop into the mid-20s on Monday and Tuesday. Wind chills will sit in the teens. Afternoon readings will struggle to get out of the 40s. The good news: we will have plenty of sunshine.
With strong winds continuing, there is a possibility of fire danger at the beginning of the week.
Rest of the Week: Our next front will arrive Thursday, bringing another round of showers and storms. Temperatures will very slowly heat back up by the end of next week. Winds will stay breezy throughout the week.

- Description
- After a fairly seasonable weekend, we're go to see a nice warmup next week. We'll start out the week near 70, with mid 70s likely by midweek. A front to our north will help introduce a chance for some isolated showers Wednesday. That front stalls over the region on Thursday, so we'll have an isolated shower possbile through Saturday, before it finally moves futher south and leaves us with a dry Sunday. Next weekend is looking a little chilly, but the chill doesn't last long as we warm back up.
