They're also at the center of a nationwide legal battle being waged by a Texas supplements company called Outlaw Laboratory.
Since 2017, Outlaw has sent legal letters to small businesses demanding they stop selling the supplements, and pay a settlement of as much as $14,000, or get sued.

However, in the coastal city of Miami, Cuban exiles and their descendants - and more recently, Venezuelan refugees - are defying this trend. Many embrace Trump for his denouncement of Socialism & his tough stance on immigration, despite its profound impact on fellow Hispanics.
VICE went South Florida to embed with both Venezuelan refugees and rightwing Latino activists, such as the local chapter of the Proud Boys, to learn more about how they reconcile their identities with a movement many see as unsympathetic to the plight of more marginalized members of the community.

As a young kid, growing up in the spotlight of his parents — the late Buffy the Human Beatbox from The Fat Boys and rapper Queen Pen, featured artist on the classic song “No Diggity” — he left his home in New York to start new roots in California. In an effort to survive on his own, he began selling drugs and self-medicating to cope with his struggles.
In 2015, the Sacramento Police Department issued a warrant for his arrest, accusing him of drug trafficking and unlawful transportation with intent to distribute. When Q got word the police were looking for him, he went under the radar, always on the move, never staying in one place for too long.

- In November 2018, California saw its most destructive and deadliest wildfire to date. The Camp Fire destroyed the town of Paradise in Northern California killing 85 people and destroying over 14,000 homes.
Birgitte Randall was a nurse in Paradise who narrowly escaped the wildfire in 2018, losing her home in the process. After taking a few months to help rehabilitate the area, Birgitte and her husband Lonnie are ready to watch Paradise rebuild.
In this episode of Home Again, we travel to Paradise to meet with the people who are starting anew, rebuilding what’s been lost. We look at the personal stories and hard costs of staying vs. leaving a town post disaster.

- Billie Lee is a transgender woman who joined the cast of Vanderpump Rules in season six of the popular Bravo Reality TV show. Lee’s introduction to VR represented a significant moment in transgender representation on reality television and propelled her to a position of immense importance for transgender visibility in one of the nation’s most popular TV programs.
However, in season 7, Billie’s narrative quickly grew to focus on her gender identity- the fallout of which caused significant outrage and debate both among her castmates and the general public. While not everybody follows Vanderpump Rules, Billie’s inclusion and the treatment of her story at a national level is an important cultural bellwether.
VICE went to LA to meet the woman behind the show, and to better understand how the nuanced nature of how trans narratives are handled by reality TV — and what we can learn from Billie’s experiences.
