Burov was killed on Thursday (May 29) in the town of Horlivka near Donetsk.
The Donetsk region has been the scene of heavy fighting between Ukrainian troops and pro-Russian separatists.

- Ukrainians may be able travel visa-free to the EU by the end of the year, according to the Head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski. The country will enter the second phase of the Visa Liberalization Action Plan (VLAP) after a meeting on June 2 in which the European Commission will determine if Ukraine has met all the first-phase requirements of the visa dialogue. Since the last EU report issued in November, Ukraine has boosted document security, and adopted new laws to curb corruption. The EU last month granted citizens of Ukraine's neighbor Moldova visa-free travel after the country sought tighter links with the EU. Ukraine's closer ties with the bloc will also allow closer trade and business partnerships without EU membership. Anti-presidential protests last year in Kyiv were triggered disgraced former President Viktor Yanukovych's decision to scrap an Association Agreement with the bloc in favor of closer ties with Moscow
