- Prime Minister's Question Time, also referred to as PMQs, takes place every Wednesday the House of Commons sits. It gives MPs the chance to put questions to the Prime Minister.
In most cases, the session starts with a routine 'open question' from an MP about the Prime Minister's engagements. MPs can then ask supplementary questions on any subject, often one of current political significance.
The Leader of the Opposition, Sir Keir Starmer, asks six questions and the leader of the second largest opposition party asks two.

- This is a recording of an online training session, delivered on 25th May 2021 by UK Parliament’s Knowledge Exchange Unit. This session explores research use by the UK’s devolved legislatures, and how to engage with each institution as an academic researcher. The session focuses on practical information and advice.
The chair is Naomi Saint, Knowledge Exchange Manager, UK Parliament. The expert speakers from devolved administrations are Emma Robinson (Scottish Parliament), Eileen Regan (Northern Ireland Assembly) and Hannah Johnson (Welsh Parliament/Senedd Cymru).
We recommend that all viewers watch the introductory section, which lasts just over 4 minutes.
