22 workers have been picked from district while 8 from municipality and according to the Rdc Eric Ssewandigi the hunt is still on .
At least 39 government employees in Iganga District and Iganga Municipality are facing investigations following a directive by the Minister for Local Government, Hon. Balaam Barugahara, during his recent visit to the district.

Appearing before the committee on budget to consider their response on the charter of fiscal responsibility for 2026//27 and 2030/31, the governor bank of Uganda Dr. Micheal Atingi-Ego said external shocks like world bank cutting aid in 2023 affected the amount of aid coming in Uganda and they resorted to domestic financing.
Officials from Bank of Uganda led by the Governor Dr. Micheal Atingi-Ego have appeared before the parliamentary committee of budget to have their responses on the charter of fiscal responsibility 2026/27 and 2030/31 be considered.
