CPL has launched a Hall of Fame, honouring the players and people who built the tournament since 2013.
From Chris Gayle's unbeaten 47 in the first final to Trinbago Knight Riders' record 267 for 2, the Caribbean Premier League has produced thirteen years of unforgettable cricket.
Now, the tournament will induct two honourees annually: one player and one off-field contributor.
The inaugural inductees will be celebrated at a gala dinner in Barbados on Tuesday, September 15th. The event will bring together Caribbean cricket's biggest names, and it's for a good cause.
Proceeds go to the Sir Clive Lloyd Healthcare Foundation, supporting prostate cancer awareness and testing across the region.

Police said that a TTPS firearm and ammunition were discovered missing following internal checks at the Mayaro Police Station on Wednesday, July 29th, 2026.
An investigation led to the recovery of the missing firearm, magazine and ammunition. The suspect, of Seaview Lane, Mayaro, who has nine months' service, was subsequently detained.
Police Commissioner Allister Guevarro noted, "Any breach of trust, especially involving the handling of police firearms, will be met with zero tolerance."

During Operation Resolute Shield, officers searched two residences, resulting in the arrest of one man in connection with an affiliation warrant.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., acting on intelligence, officers proceeded to a residence on Dallas Avenue, Cocoyea, where they located the 14-year-old girl, who had been reported missing to the Four Roads Police Station.
The teenager, who is a ward of the State, was taken into police custody and conveyed to the Mon Repos Police Station with the assistance of other officers.
The Children's Authority and the Four Roads Police Station were notified to facilitate the appropriate follow-up.

Speaking at the Emancipation celebrations at the Queen’s Park Savannah on Saturday afternoon, he said the abolition of slavery was won through African resistance and that the struggle for justice must continue through reparations.
