- Description
- Redlining became illegal in 1968. Even so, Minnesota has the highest racial disparity in the country when it comes to home ownership: 75% of white families own a home, while only 25% black families own a home. Mapping Prejudice has found links between racially-covenanted houses and home prices, as well as neighborhood make-up and home ownership rates.
Twin Cities PBS created a full documentary on the history and effects of redlining called 'Jim Crow of the North.' To watch the documentary, visit: https://bit.ly/3e5xreP

While he often enjoys those cuisines, he longed for the comfort food of his youth. That experience sparked an idea, and he is now embarking on a project to develop recipes and food plans that specifically cater to the nutritional needs of those going through cancer treatments. Along the way, he hopes to broaden the cultural horizons of recovery foods.
