- England fans were forced to take down flags at the World Cup opener with Croatia in Dallas, after security enforced FIFA's order to prevent hoardings being covered.
According to reports, FIFA and stadium authorities will only allow small, fire-resistant flags and require larger banners to be pre-approved before entry.
Fans are also being told they cannot hang flags over advertising boards or display anything considered political or offensive.

But Mr Jarvis headed to the Belgian capital without the promise of extra funding to prepare the armed forces for the growing threat of Russia.

- Sailors on a Russian warship fired warning shots at a UK-registered yacht in the English Channel in the latest sign of tensions with Vladimir Putin’s country.
The incident is understood to have involved the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich about 20 nautical miles south of the Isle of Wight, outside the UK’s territorial waters.
There were no injuries and the yacht received no damage in the incident on Tuesday.
The crew of the yacht claimed the warning shots were fired at a distance of approximately 500 yards (457 metres).
