Kemi Badenoch came out swinging, taking aim at Keir Starmer over his refusal to approve new North Sea oil and gas licences. She argued the government is jeopardising UK energy security and accused the Prime Minister of ducking the decision, as well as claiming he was under the yoke of Energy Secretary Ed Miliband.
Starmer hit back as ever by leaning on the legal process, insisting the decision sits with the relevant Secretary of State, and doubled down on Labour’s shift toward renewables.
Away from the headline clash, things got stranger. Nigel Farage dramatically stormed out of the chamber mid-session (though, as the trio point out, you'd have missed it if MPs hadn’t tried to make two points of order).
