On April 25th, 2026, at about 2:40 AM, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s, Yucaipa Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision in the 34400 Block of Forrest Oaks Drive, at the cross of 5th Street in Yucaipa.
Units located a sedan that crashed into a parked car and a block wall with major damage.
One occupant was trapped inside the vehicle and required extrication.
A total of two occupants were transported with unknown injuries to a local hospital.
Camera footage from a neighbor shows the sedan traveling Eastbound on Forrest Oaks Drive at a high rate of speed before it clipped a parked sedan, lost control, and hit the wall.
The neighbor who provided the footage also reported two loud booms about 10 minutes prior to the crash.
Unknown what the noises were or if they were related to the crash.

on arrival firefighters had a difficult time accessing the wreck due to the length of the train and having to detour to get to the west side of the tracks.
Firefighters arrived to the scene and evaluated the people that were in the truck but they were not injured.
SDSO Rail arrived on scene and conducted their investigation.
the driver of the truck was arrested on scene for an unrelated incident.

The incident was first reported around 11:54 p.m. as a vehicle fire in the center divider. Within minutes, crews arriving on scene found a construction truck fully engulfed in flames on the right shoulder. The driver had exited the vehicle and was seen standing safely nearby.

At 9pm Wednesday at Laura Koppe Road & Bertwood St, HPD responded to a call of a male shot.
Upon arrival they found one male victim in his mid 30s shot numerous times while he was sitting in his car.
HPD doesn’t have any good witnesses so far.
Police believe an SUV rolled up, someone got out of that vehicle with a rifle, and shot up the car numerous times.
HFD responded and rushed the victim with CPR in progress to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Also reported the tower was leaning and exposing a one story commercial. building.
Representatives from T-Moblie and SO Cal Edison are on scene.
Sheriff closed 20th Street west.
Power is out in the surrounding area for a unknown time when will be back.
The T-Moble tower is also out affecting T-Mobile customers only.
