Responding firefighters located two heavily damaged vehicles, multiple injured occupants, and one trapped victim who required extrication from the wreckage.
Additional ambulances and fire personnel were requested to assist with the large-scale response.
According to Riverside Police Department, four occupants were transported to hospitals with various injuries, while the driver believed to be at fault was transported and later admitted to the ICU.
Investigators say the suspected driver displayed objective signs and symptoms of being under the influence and was taken into custody.
The collision also knocked down a traffic signal pole at the intersection.

When they arrived they found three vehicles with one patient trapped.
The vehicle with the trapped patient was a courier for a blood laboratory, in the video you can see vials on the ground.
That patient was extricated and transported to a local area hospital with unknown injuries.
The female driver who was extricated struck a tree, over turned and clipped two other vehicles, causing the collision.
All eastbound lanes are shut down until further notice.

Fullerton Fire Department in Fullerton Police Department responded to a residential structure fire.
When units arrived they found a garage with smoke and fire.
The fire did extend into the residents
To residents were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Apple Valley Fire and Sheriff responded to a collision with two cars into a power pole Wednesday morning.
A motorist in the blue vehicle collided with the truck after the truck hit the power pole.
The truck driver had minor injuries and was seen holding an ice pack on his wrist.
The power did not go out, but the pole was severely damaged and So. Cal. Edison spent the day working to replace the pole.
As of 5:00PM crews were still working at the scene.
The town of Apple Valley set up road blocks and a detour around the site as the pole was leaning over traffic lanes.
Unknown how long the repairs will take.
Drugs and alcohol do not seem to be a factor.

Just after 2:00 PM, units from the Orange County Fire Authority and Sheriff’s Department were dispatched to a water main break on the 16700 block of Camille Place in Yorba Linda.
Arriving units found a large leak coming from a water main with water flowing into homes and yards with those are completely flooded.
A Yorba Linda Water District Assistant General Manager told a news photographer that the water main is approximately 8 inches in diameter.
Doug Davert, the YBWD representative, also said that at least 35 homes will be without water until repairs are completed with an estimated time of 8 hours.

A dirt bike and a small white sedan were involved in a fatal traffic collision at the intersection of Gardendale and Paramount Blvd.
A witness stated that a white car was trying to make a left from Paramount onto Gardendale going west. They hit someone on what looks to me like an e-bike. The person on the e-bike did have a helmet on, but to me it seemed like it was someone young.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Unknown if alcohol or speed was involved.
The crash occurred near a high school.
