- At approximately 3:13 a.m. on January 15th, 2026, firefighters with the Houston Fire Department responded to reports of an apartment fire at a complex located at 855 Greens Road in Houston.
Upon arrival, crews observed flames coming from one of the apartment units. Due to the intensity of the fire and wind conditions contributing to its spread, the incident was upgraded to a second-alarm response.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control, preventing further spread. Authorities stated a total of 10 apartment units were affected by the blaze. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
Arson investigators responded to determine the cause of the fire. The incident remained under investigation.

- At approximately 9:30 p.m. on January 12th, 2026, first responders were dispatched to a single-vehicle traffic collision at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Tucker Street in Compton.
Upon arrival, crews located a vehicle that had crashed into a tree, causing a passenger to be ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics immediately initiated CPR on the ejected passenger; however, the individual was later pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver was reported to have been trapped inside the vehicle and was later placed into an ambulance. The extent of the driver’s injuries was not immediately released.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of Long Beach Boulevard were shut down as investigators worked the scene. Bus routes were also stopped and rerouted during the closure.

- At approximately 12:51 p.m. on January 13th, 2026, officers with the Riverside Police Department and crews with Riverside Fire Department responded to reports of a man who had set himself on fire in the parking lot of a McDonald’s located at 7474 Indiana Avenue in Riverside.
First responders arrived and located the adult male suffering from severe burn injuries. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and his condition was not immediately released.
Video from the scene showed the area where the fire occurred, along with personal items believed to belong to the man, including a burned shoe and a piece of burned clothing resembling a hoodie.
Authorities stated the incident remained under investigation, and Riverside Police Department was contacted for additional information.

The man was transported to a local area hospital and his condition is unknown.
In the video you can see the area where the fire was at as well as a burn shoe and a burned piece of clothing that looks like a hoodie.

- At approximately 8:00 p.m. on January 12th, 2026, officers with the Long Beach Police Department responded to reports of a shooting at a homeless encampment located beneath the 91 Freeway along railroad tracks near Artesia Boulevard, west of Paramount, in Long Beach.
Upon arrival, officers located a victim who was reported to be unconscious and not breathing. Long Beach Fire Department personnel also responded to the scene to provide medical aid.
Investigators stated a suspect was seen leaving the area in a vehicle. Police were working to determine whether the shooting was a walk-up or drive-by incident and whether the victim was the intended target.
The area beneath the freeway was secured as detectives conducted their investigation. No additional information was immediately released.

Authorities stated the pursuit traveled eastbound on Interstate 80 into the East Bay before turning back westbound on Highway 92 toward the Peninsula. The suspect vehicle later exited onto southbound Highway 101, with officers from SFPD and the California Highway Patrol continuing the pursuit.
The vehicle exited at Woodside Road, where it collided with another vehicle and struck a center median before continuing southbound on Alameda. Both occupants then fled on foot from the damaged pickup truck.

According to police, approximately eight suspects wearing masks entered the jewelry store and smashed multiple display cases before fleeing with an unknown amount of jewelry. Authorities stated three employees were inside the business at the time of the robbery, and no injuries were reported.

A man was stabbed and killed in front of his friend, who can be seen distraught, calling his friend’s name, telling him to wake up. He was yelling, “John, wake up, John.”
LAPD received a call of shots fired near a bar located on 7th St and Mateo Street.
Arriving officers found a man on the ground suffering from multiple stabwounds.
A trail of blood was found from the victim, who tried to get help but ultimately fell and died.
The bar next to where the man died was full at the time of the stabbing. No one there was injured.

- At approximately 11:46 p.m. on January 13th, 2026, officers with the Houston Police Department, including K9 units, responded to reports of a man armed with a knife breaking into a business along the Katy Freeway in Houston.
According to police, officers responded to a call at a business near 7921 Katy Freeway when they located the suspect, who fled on foot. Officers pursued the suspect and eventually surrounded him outside the IKEA located at 7810 Katy Freeway.

Per radio traffic, HFD ambulance RS037 was stolen from St. Joseph Hospital. (Came on air around 5:15 a.m., unknown what time it was actually stolen.)
Ambulance was found by HPD Southeast patrol officers in the 5200 block of Telephone around 5:30 a.m.
An HPD Officer on scene confirmed off-camera that the ambulance was stolen and one person was detained.
Note: HFD picked up the ambulance a couple of minutes after my arrival and drove it away. HPD has cleared the scene already.

- At approximately 5:20 a.m. on January 14th, 2026, officers with the Houston Police Department recovered a stolen Houston Fire Department ambulance in the 5200 block of Telephone Road in Houston.
According to radio traffic, the ambulance was reported stolen from St. Joseph Hospital around 5:15 a.m., though the exact time of the theft was not confirmed. HPD Southeast patrol officers located the ambulance a short time later and confirmed off-camera that it had been stolen.
One individual was detained in connection with the incident. Houston Fire Department personnel arrived shortly afterward and retrieved the ambulance, driving it away from the scene. HPD cleared the area following the recovery.

On January 10th, 2026, at 9:45 PM, CHP, County Fire, and AMR responded to a traffic collision on 30th Street and Little Mountain Drive in San Bernardino.
Units arrived at the scene and located a vehicle that had crashed off the Westbound 210 Freeway over Little Mountain Drive and landed on the sidewalk.
One person was pronounced deceased inside the vehicle, and another was transported with unknown injuries.
The witness reported that other people fled the vehicle after the crash, but this was not confirmed.
CHP closed the Northbound and Southbound lanes of Little Mountain Drive under the 210 Freeway.
The crash is under investigation by CHP.
Fire was requested back to the scene hours later to extricate the deceased victim.

Riverside Fire Department and California Highway Patrol, Riverside, responded to reports of a car vs. a semi truck trailer of the freeway.
When units arrived, they found a car with two occupants who had slammed into the trailer of a semi truck that was parked on the side of the freeway.
One occupant of the car was transported in an unknown condition to a local area trauma center.
The other occupant was given a field sobriety test and taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to CHP and the construction workers, two employees for FBD Vanguard Construction were on the shoulder of the freeway getting ready to load equipment that was on the gravel section of the freeway, under an overpass from the ground to the semi, when the car slammed into the semi that they were loading, at a high rate of speed.

A red truck with a camper crashed into an apartment building.
The truck did not seem to have applied its brakes, crashing into a partment that was occupied.
The occupants, two women and a small child, were not injured and can be seen crying and hugging.
A nearby resident said he heard a loud thump but thought it was cars that crashed and was surprised to see it was into the building.
The driver cooperated with the police.
Unknown what the cause was of the accident at this time.

- At approximately 2:30 a.m. on December 31st, 2025, firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department and officers with the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a vehicle that had rolled off the westbound 10 Freeway transition road to the southbound 110 Freeway in Downtown Los Angeles.
Upon arrival, crews located a man and his caged dog trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters cut and smashed windows to safely free both the driver and the dog from the wreckage.
Video from the scene showed firefighters and CHP officers comforting the dog, providing water and reassurance following the rescue. The driver was transported to a local hospital for treatment, while the dog was placed into a CHP unit for care and safekeeping.
The crash remained under investigation.

When they arrived on the scene they found one SUV with major front end damage, a motorcycle in the middle of the roadway with major damage and one rider who had been ejected.

- At approximately 4:15 a.m. on January 7th, 2026, officers with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a train-versus-vehicle collision near the intersection of San Pedro Street and Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Authorities stated a train struck a truck at the crossing. The driver of the truck was able to self-extricate, while two additional passengers from the truck fled the scene prior to officers’ arrival.
Officials reported there were approximately 60 passengers aboard the train at the time of the collision. It was not immediately clear if any passengers were injured. Along National City Boulevard near East 18th Street, large sections of roadway were flooded, leaving vehicles and dumpsters partially submerged.
